The knitting is done, the ends are woven in, and it’s been washed. All that’s left to do on my Gemini are let it dry and take some FO pictures! I’ll be back later this week with modeled shots, my thoughts on the pattern, and a list of the mods I made.
On Friday, I wondered about getting any knitting done on a camping trip. Turns out, at least on this camping trip, knitting was not a possibility. It rained (hard) for 24 hours straight, and then I spent the rest of the weekend drying out. Unfortunately, that means I haven’t made much progress on my Gemini since last week. Happy Canada Day! This weekend, I’m going something categorically summery- going camping with friends for the long weekend. I’m interested to see how it all turns out, because I’ve never been camping in a big group (16 of us) like this. I’m hoping that it’s fun and easy, with no rain. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Now that I’ve made it half way through my plans for IntSweMoDo, and I’m thinking about making changes and updates, I figured I should share them with you. I’m a little bit amazed at what I have been able to accomplish so far this year- I am ahead of schedule on a sweater a month plan, even with a few side projects thrown in there.
